The Lake Como is located in the northern part of Italy and is the third largest lake in the country, after Lake Garda and Lake Maggiore. The five-star deluxe hotel and resort CastaDiva Resort & Spa is located on the eastern bank of the western branch of Lake Como in the picturesque village of Blevio, only five kilometres from Como on the road to Bellagio and it is surrounded by a magnificent natural landscape with breathtaking view of Lake Como. Villa Roccabruna was built in the late 18th century and rebuilt between 1906 and 1910 by the Milanese architect Carlo Formenti. The villa is the core of the hotel and provides the main services and amenities, such as the hotel lobby, several salons, the concierge desk, an American Bar, the 1,300 squaremetres (14,000 square feet) spa area and ten suites on the first and third floor. Each of the other eight villas is named after a great female character of an opera (Fiordiligi, Dorabella, Gilda, Leonora, Violetta, Isotto, Amina and Norma) and they are located amidst gardens and waterfalls around Villa Roccabruna. All villas feature a characteristic and unique style and they combine the 19th century splendour with latest comfort and luxury.
- Villa Fiordiligi, named after the main character of "Cosi fan tutte" of Wolfgang Amedeus Mozart, is entirely clad with "Moltrasio stone", a local stone which is hand-worked.
- Villa Dorabella, named after the main character of "Cosi fan tutte" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, offers a large meeting room and many suites with balconies, roof gardens and spacious terraces.
- Villa Gilda, named after the main character of "Rigoletto" by Giuseppe Verdi, offers an interesting combination of Neoclassical style and latest comfort.
- Villa Leonora, named after the female character of "Il Trovatore" by Giuseppe Verdi, features three suites and is clad with local stone.
- Villa Violetta, named after the main character of "La Traviata" by Giuseppe Verdi, is the former stables and offers three suites and three double rooms.
- Villa Isotta, named after "Tristan and Iseult", a music drama by Richard Wagner, is a Neoclassical building and offers four suites and three double rooms.
- The private Villa Amina, named after the female character of "La Sonnambula" by Vincenzo Bellini, is characterized by glass and stone details and unique furnishings, manufactured with precious wood from New Zealand and offers breathtaking view of Lake Como.
- The private Villa Norma, named after the main character of Norma by Vincenzo Bellini, is built in a Neoclassical style with a slate roof and stucco works. This villa is exclusively furnished and offer a private dock, a wine cellar and a billiard room as well as a large private garden with on outdoor Jacuzzi.
