Built in the year 1314, the Relais & Chateaux Hotel Certosa di Maggiano was dedicated to prayer and meditation. In the year 1775 the beautiful Certosa di Maggiano has been transformed into a luxurious hotel and now offers its guests a variety of thoughtfully appointed spaces in which to spend different moments of the day. The walls of the "Emperor's Hall" are decorated with 12 paintings from the 18th century of 12 Roman Emperors. The Library offer an antique bookcase made of alder-wood and sofas with fine silk designed by Antico Setificio Fiorentino. Gourmets enjoy here delicious cuisine from this region and delicious vintages with breathtaking view of the Tuscan landscape.
