The Grand Hotel Des Iles Borromées offers 130 guestrooms, 24 junior suites and eleven suites indluding the luxurious "Hemingway Suite". All guestrooms and suites are elegantly decorated in the style of the "Belle Epoque" in rich and warm colours with sumptuous curtains, precious fabrics and glittering Murano glass chandeliers. Most of the lake-facing rooms offer a private balcony.
All guestrooms, junior suites and suites feature modern comfort such as individually air conditioning and heating, cable and satellite TV, radio, alarm clock, DVD player, high speed internet access, desk, direct dial telephone, minibar, safe and marble bathroom with bathtub, hairdryer, bathrobe and bathroom amenities.

• The Double Rooms Garden View have a size of 20 to 22 squaremetres (215 to 237 square feet) and they are equipped with either one king size bed or two twin size beds. These rooms are elegantly and comfortably decorated and some of them offer a balcony. Garden view rooms enjoy views on the luxuriant gardens of the hotel and the mountains surrounding the Lake Maggiore. The bathrooms of these rooms are fitted with muti-coloured marbles and they offer two washbasins and a whirlpool bathtub.

• The Double Rooms Lake View have a size of 22 to 24 squaremetres (237 to 258 square feet) and they are furnished with either one king size bed or two twin size beds. These comfortable rooms are decorated in an elegant style and they offer classic charme. The Lake view rooms offer magnificent views of one of the most beautiful lakes in Italy. The bathrooms of these rooms are fitted with muti-coloured marbles and they offer two washbasins and a whirlpool bathtub.

• The hotel also offers Family Rooms either with garden view or lake view.

• The Junior Suites Lake View have a size of 30 to 35 squaremetres (323 to 377 square feet) and they consist of a sleeping area, equipped with either one king size bed or two twin size beds, and a sitting area with breakfast table. These Junior suites offer views of Lake Maggiore. The bathroom of the comfortable Junior suites are richly decorated in multi-colourd marbles and they offer two washbasins and a whirlpool bathtub.

• The Junior Suites Deluxe have a size of 35 to 42 squaremetres (377 to 452 square feet) and they are luxuriously decorated with furniture in the style of the "Belle Epoque". These Junior suites offer views of the Lake Maggiore and they consist of a sleeping area, equipped with either one king size bed or two twin size beds, as well as a separate living area with sofa, breakfast table and chairs. The bathrooms of these Junior suites are richly decorated with multi-coloured marbles and they offer two washbasins, a whirlpool bathtub and a separate shower.

• The Royal Suites have a size of 50 squaremetres (539 square feet) and they offer stunning views of Lake Maggiore. These suites are decorated in an elegant and classical style and they consist of a bedroom, equipped with either one king size bed or two twin size beds, and a separate living room. The bathrooms of the Royal suites are richly decorated with multi-coloured and they are equipped with two washbasins and a whirlpool bathtub.

• The luxurious and spacious Imperial Suites have a size of 75 squaremetres (808 square feet) and they offer the ultimate in comfort. These suites have beautiful views of the Lake Maggiore and the Borromean Islands and they are decorated with warm wood panels amd reproductions of antique furniture. The Imperial suites consist of a bedroom, equipped with either one king size bed or two twin size beds, a spacious living room and two bathrooms. Both bathrooms are richly decorated in multi-coloured marbles and the master bathroom is equipped with whirlpool bathtub and separate shower.

• The unique Hemingway Suite is the largest and most beautiful suite of the Grand Hotel Des Iles Borromees and consists of a living room, a study, up to three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a terrace with stunning views of Lake Maggiore and the Borromean Islands. With three bedrooms the suite has a size of 240 squaremetres (2,585 square feet). The walls of the living room are decorated with panels in yellow Siena marble, stuccos and trompe l'oeil paintings, as well as a original fireplace, the ceilings are enriched by round frescoes. All chandeliers are in Murano glass and match the colours of the tapestry with inlaid of real gold. The study area, is warm and welcoming, its walls are covered by wooden panels and carved in different kind of woods, near the top of the walls runs a decoration in exotic scenarios. The doors alone are a masterpiece, they are finely carved and decorated with inlaid mother-of-pearls, copper and brass. The bathrooms are equipped with whirlpool bathtubs.
