Right at the edge of the golf course, this hotel re-creates the feel of a suburban country club on the outskirts of an Alpine town. Solid, sunny, and serene, with plenty of pine and stucco to soften its prefab look, it offers late sun on the terrace, a fireplace in the lobby, and the soothing tunes of a pianist in its bar. The rooms are decorated in country-casual miniature prints and pink linens. The restaurant serves an excellent Swiss and Buendner cuisine with nouvelle twists such as pike quenelles with squid-ink pasta. Guests of the Golfhotel Waldhuus are assured an ambiance of luxurious comfort and outstanding gourmet delights. It has been completely renovated in 2000 and in Summer 2002 there has been added a new wing -of course also in typical Swiss chalet style- with more drawing rooms, features and 52 more guestrooms and suites.
