The restaurant L'Orangerie of Los Angeles, winner of several gastronomic international awards has reached an agreement with the hotels owned by the Stein Group to be represented in the Gran Hotel Son Net since the 15th of March 2002. Memorable Mediterranean cuisine is served in L'Orangerie. The huge original olivepress of Son Net has been refurbished and, after several centuries, it is at last able to produce olive oil again, although it is not being used for production. The L?Orangerie in Son Net offers the best quality, products and service based on Mallorcan cuisine. It?s fresh market products, Mediterranean ingredients and herbs masterly combined, produce the best creations, plate decorations and flavour for the most demanding palates. L'Orangerie's exclusive wine list has all the best Mallorcan, Spanish and European wines.
In summer time, the more informal Gazebo Grill in the gardens by the pool offers freshly grilled dishes prepared in an old stone oven. The chef prepares the best fresh products of the island: grilled meat, fish and seafood, pasta, a fabulous salad buffet in an enchanting position with spectacular views of the valley of Puigpunyent.
Every Sunday the Buffet Brunch is served in the Restaurant. A gastronomical journey with the most exquisite dishes reflecting the Mallorcan, Spanish and Mediterranean cuisine. The Bar Son Net lounges have a large range of art and antique furniture, a cosy fire-place, views of the patio and the valley of Puigpunyent. Don?t forget to ask for the superb cocktails masterly prepared by Gran Hotel Son Net's Barman, combined with the music for the occasion. In the summer, the bar also includes open air terraces.
Tea will be served every day in the fire-place lounge from 16.00 until 18.00hrs from the 15th of October until the 15th of April. Twelve different types of tea, scones, muffins, plum cakes, fruit cakes and finger sandwiches make it a complete feast.
Under the five hundred year old cyprus tree the pool bar, El Mirador, invites you to enjoy tropical milkshakes and ice creams.
