The Grand Hotel Duomo was built in the year 1860 with the same marble as the famous Duomo of Milan. This marble comes from a special quarry of Carrera and it is now only for reparations of the Cathedral of Milan. Former the building of the Grand Hotel Duomo was a private palace and it became a hotel in the year 1950.
