Being a historic Grand Hotel the Excelsior Vittoria comprises of 3 different blocks constructed between 1834 and 1880. Precisely because of its unique layout and décor, Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria is able to offer a generous selection of 113 guestrooms including 14 suites, the Suite "Enrico Caruso" and the famous Suite "Pompeii" with a variety of features. Nearly all the guestrooms and suites offer a balcony or a terrace with panoramic views of the Bay of Naples or the lush and flourish hotel gardens. All guestrooms of Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria feature a private bathroom, sat-TV, air conditioning, minibar, direct-dial phone and safe-box.

- The often requested Suite Enrico Caruso offers still the the same furnishings and décor as in 1921, when the Italian artist, the world's perhaps most famous tenor ever, stayed at Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria for several months.
- Recently been renavoted, the marvellous Pompeii Suite is now covered with frescoes, which are inspired by some of the beautiful Roman villas and their decorations found in the nearby ruins of Pompeii.
In addition to the main hotel rooms and suites, Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria offers a limited range of fully equipped self-catering apartments, occupying a separate building set in the private gardens. The building was used formerly by the proprietor's family, and has recently undergone a complete refurbishment. The apartments are attractively decorated self-catering units, available for rent on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday (minimum one week). Each apartment has its own air conditioning, satellite TV, safe, and a fully equipped kitchen with microwave oven.

- The west-facing Apartment 262 on the 2nd floor (no elevator), overlooking the hotel's garden with 2 narrow balconies, is spacious with a bedroom, en-suite bathroom (WC/shower), a combined dining and sittigroom with sofa-bed, a small kitchen, second full bathroom and entrance hall. Sleeps up to 4 people.
- The Apartment 361, with spectacular view, on the 3rd floor (no elevator) offers a combined sitting- and dining room with additional sofa-bed, a bedroom, a bathroom and a kitchen. It offers a semicircular, north facing terrace with a view over the Bay of Naples towards Mount Vesuvius. Sleeps three persons.
