The Via Veneto is one of the most famous but also one of the most expensive streets in Rom and runs from the Piazza Barberini to Porta Pinciana. The official name of the street is Via Vittorio Veneto, named after the battle of Vittorio Veneto in 1918. Federico Fellini's classical film "La Dolce Vita" from 1960 was mostly centreed around this street. The film made Via veneto famous in the 1960's to 1970's ant iurned it into a centre for sophisticated cafes, restaurants and shops. Villa Borghese is a magnificent landscape garden in the style of an English garden in Rome with several buildings, mueseums, such as the Galleria Borghese, and attractions. The Borghese Gallery (Galleria Borghese) housed in the former Villa Borghese Pinciana and is a famous art art gallery in Rome. The Galleria Borghese hosts a substantial part of the Borghese collection of paintings, sculpture and antiques, began by Cardinal Scipione Borghese.
