Originally built as a flour mill, the building has been splendid restored to an elegant and luxurious hotel opening in the year 2007. The Molino Stucky, owned by the successful Swiss businessman Giovanni Stucky, has been a flour mill since 1883. The building with its characteristic neo-gothic fa?ade was designed by the famous German architect Ernst Wollekopf. The son of Giovanni Stucky didn't have the same talent in managing the family business as his father and in the year 1955 collapsed the molino.
