The five-star Hotel Sacher Salzburg ?Oesterreichischer Hof? Guestrooms & Suites : During the past few years, the majority of the 120 guestrooms and suites of the Sacher Hotel Salzburg have been restored and carefully redesigned to harmonize with the historical style of the building. The rooms are furnished in a highly personal and individual fashion and feature original antiques and precious paintings, and bathrooms covered with marble. Different categories of guestrooms and suites in various sizes and combination variants will certainly fulfil the demanding traveller's every expectation. All rooms and suites feature toilet and bath/shower with hairdryer and bathrobe, telephone with modem plug, internet access, sat-TV, safe, minibar and air-conditioning.
  • With a size of 25sqms the single rooms offer all the amenities for single travellers.
  • Starting from 30sqms the double guestrooms offer all comforts and modern amenities one may expect from a five-star hotel. These individually decorated guestrooms are also available with balconies facing Salzach river and splendid views of the Fortress Hohensalzburg. All rooms feature friendly bright marble bathrooms.

Cuisine & Cocktails : The Restaurant Roter Salon (Red Salon), decorated in elegant Biedermeier style, faces the Salzach waterfront with picturesque views of the spires and domes of the Old Town. Here, the exquisite and rich buffet breakfast is served as well as delicacies from the regional and international cuisine for lunch and dinner.
The cosy Gourmet-Restaurant Zirbelzimmer (Pine Wood Room) with splendid terrace represents the elegant style of Old Salzburg in the true sense of the word. With its fine wood panelled ceiling the "Zirbelzimmer" restaurant has been preserved in its lovely original state since the hotel's opening in 1866 and is still today a searched-for meeting place for everyone who wants to enjoy the comfortable ambience of this restaurant, which blends perfectly with its excellent cuisine.
The Salzachgrill, with its marvellous terrace facing the Salzach waterfront, is the counterpart to other restaurants of the Sacher Hotel Salzburg. It offers specialities from its separate barbeque and its wood burning oven.
The Café Sacher Salzburg, with its terrace alongside the Salzach river, is a coffee-house characteristical for Austria. Here the "Mehlspeisen" Austria is famous for are served: Delicious home-made pastries and tempting sweets such as the legendary "Origial Sacher Torte" and the well-liked Salzburger Nockerl as well as cold and warm snacks.
The Piano Bar is the ideal meeting place for tuning in for an evening with business partners or friends over a cool cocktail to the sound of live piano music or for some quite hours late at night.
