Cuisine & Cocktails : The Swissotel Metropole Geneva offers two restaurants and a cosy hotel bar.
- The restaurant Le Grand Quai is located on the Place de la Métropole and it is a true jewel of the "Belle Epoque", elegantly decorated with magnificently hand-painted trompe-l'oeils of Geneva and the Mont Blanc, created by the artis Jean Dubois in 1840. This restaurant serves fine international cuisine and delicious Mediterranean and French specialities. A well-known culinary delight is the seafood buffet on Thursday evening. During the summer month guests can dine also on the beautiful covered terrace.
- Le Bistropole, opened in 2004, is the unique concept of a deluxe sandwich and wine bar. Le Bistropole is decorated in a contemporary design with warm teracotta walls and vibrant colours and offers 12 to 15 savoury sandwiches, six sweet sandwiches, three salads and sushi specialities as well as vegetarian creations. A large selection of wines are served by the glass as either half or full bottles and wine tasting are available.
