The Hotel "Le Sirenuse" opened in 1951, when the Sersale family decided to turn their summer house in Positano into a small elegant hotel. In the beginning there were 8 guestrooms and a spacious terrace with a view of the isles of Galli, the Islands of the Sirens. 50 years later Hotel Le Sirenuse features 62 rooms with all the service and luxurious amenities of a five star luxury hotel without losing the ambience of a family home.
Situated right in the centre of Positano, the Hotel Le Sirenuse is named after the mythical Sirens from the nearby islands of Galli. The sitting rooms throughout the hotel reflect the typical layout of an 18th-century country house. With the sea straight ahead, the village of baroque houses climbing the hill to the right, and the tiled dome of the Mother Church almost close enough to be touched, the view from the terraces of Hotel Le Sirenuse is spectacular. The largest of them is the pool terrace. Being surrounded by potted lemon trees this pool terrace is ideal for sunbathing.
Perched on a hill above Positano in one of the most sougth-after vantage points, the Hotel "Le Sirenuse" overlooks the beach and the Mediterranean Sea. The original antique furniture are reflecting intimate European charm and quiet elegance, keen attention to detail is paid throughout Le Sirenuse Hotel. Wherever possible, the guestrooms and the reception area are still furnished as a comfortable, large private summer house where the old blends with the new to combine the tradition and the way of life of yesterday with the comforts of today.

Guestrooms & Suites : The Hotel "Le Sirenuse" offers 60 comfortably decorated guestrooms, junior suites and luxuriously and elegantly furnished suites. All guestrooms, junior suites and suites are individually decorated with antiques. Most of the guestrooms offer a private balcony and Jacuzzi.
  • The Standard Rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, cable television and safe-box. No view, no balcony, no Jacuzzi.
  • The Superior Rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, minibar, cable televion, safe-box and Jacuzzi. The superior rooms offer private balconies, some with seaview and some with partial seaview.
  • The Deluxe Rooms offer air-conditioning, minibar, cable television, safebox and Jacuzzi. The deluxe rooms have a private balcony or terrace with seaview. Extra bed is available.
  • The Junior Suites offer air-conditioning, minibar, cable television, safebox and Jacuzzi. The junior suites have a private balcony or terrace with view of the Mediterranean. Extra bed is available.
  • The One-Bedroom-Suites or Two-Bedroom-Suites are located in the heart of the building, the original part of the house thus equipped with vaulted ceilings. These guestrooms are decorated with handmade tiles, antique furniture, old master paintings and watercolours.

Cuisine & Cocktails : Overlooking the town of Positano and the Thrrenian Sea, there is a choice of three different menus and settings for your meals:
  • The Restaurant ?La Sponda? serves seasonal menus based on traditional Neapolitan cuisine. The vaulted ceilings are covered with flourish Bougainvillaea and hundreds of candles create an enchanting atmosphere. Wheather permitting lunch and dinner is served al fresco so guests are captivated by the splendour and beauty of the Amalfi coastline.
  • On the upstairs terrace of this palazzo, there is the Champagne Bar with a spectacular view of the Mediterranen sea. Every night until one o'clock from mid May till mid September this romantic setting serves a wide range of local and Mediterranean delicacies. Sip champagne while the sun sets or spend all night under the stars.
  • Situated on the main terrace the Swimming Pool Cafe overlooks the village of Positano and the Amalfi Coast. Here a selection of delicious sandwiches, snacks and salads is served. Perfect for those who wish to spend a day of total relaxation lying by the pool in a tranquil and blissful setting. Open from the beginning of March till the end of November, weather permitting.

Other Facilites : Meeting and banquet room for up to 40 peolple. Car park. Transfer from and to Naples Airport is available on request. During summer months there is also the hotel's boat available for dai trips. So sorry: Pets are not welcome to Le Sirenuse Hotel in Positano. Kindly take note: In high season children 9 years or older are welcome.
