… furnishings formed of hand-crafted iron and lava stone. The Amalfitana Coast is located on the Peninsula of Sorrento in the south of Italy. This beauiful landscape is characterised by the sea and mountains and the terraced land with orange and lemon groves, beautiful flowers, olive groves and small allotments and gardens which casdade down to the sea. The Peninsula of Sorrento is occupied by the Monti Lattari and the highest mountain is the Monte Sant'Angelo a Tre Pizzi (1,443 metres). Positano is a vibrant village at the foot of Monte Sant'Angelo a Tre Pizzi and has a dry and mild climate, protected from the the northern winds by the Monti Lattari. The structure of this dramatically beautiful village is very original, the small houses cling to the cliff face and casdade to the turquoise-blue waters of the Mediterranean. Completely redecorated and renovated in 2001, the first-class Hotel Pasitea has a particular tiered structure, so each guestroom offers its own private seafacing balcony or terrace and a breathtaking view of the bay; so guests can enjoy fully the brilliance characteristical for the Amalfi Coast. Guestrooms & Suites : All rooms boast sea view and balcony, sat-TV, air conditioning and heating, direct dial telephone with modem plug, hair dryer. There are 26 rooms: 12 standard and 14 executive rooms 6 of which are also offering jacuzzi tub. Max. occupancy is three persons per room.
