The Residenza Cannaregio Hotel is situated in Sestiere Cannaregio (Sestiere = a sixth, here : A Venetian quater), close to the historical centre of Venice only a short stroll away from the Rialto Bridge, a ten minutes walk from St. Mark's Square, and twenty minutes from the most important museums. The Cannaregio Canal gave this quater its name and it is one of the most picturesque and authentic areas in Venice.

The Residenza Canneregio is located in a former monastry of the XVII centrury in the style of a "chiostro" (cloister) with a typical Venician courtyard. In the first years of the XIX century it became a "squero", it was the place where gondolas are build. Now it was transformed in a comfortable and very modern hotel.

The hotel is situated only few steps away from the Campo del Gheto Novo, the oldest Jewish settlement in Europe and the Residenza Cannaregio can be reached by puplic boasts with a private access for gondolas and water taxis on St. Alvise Canal.

Guestrooms & Suites : The Residenza Cannaregio offers 66 guestrooms, junior suites and suites on two floors with all modern comfort like air conditioning, individual heating control, satellite/cable TV, radio, direct dial telephone, alarm clock, in-room safe, and bathroom with bathtub/shower, and hairdryer.
  • The Double Rooms Superior have a size of 20 squaremetres (215 squarefeet) andthey are equipped either with one double bed or two single beds. These rooms, withoriginal ceilings with wooden beams from the 17th century, are located in the groundfloor and comfortably furnished with writing desk and armchair and they offer view of the garden and the courtyard. The bathrooms offer either a bathtub or a shower stall.

  • The Junior Suites have a size of 35 squaremetres (377 squarefeet) and they are situated on two levels with garden view. The living area with double sofa bed, armchair and writing desk with internet connection is located on the lower floor and the bedroom with one double bed or two single beds is located on the upper floor. The original ceilings from the 17th century offer wooden beams. The modern marble bathroom is equipped with bathtub, separate toilet and bidet.

  • The Deluxe Suites have a size of 50 squaremetres (538 squarefeet) and they are situated on two levels with view of the canal. The living area with double sofa bed, armchair and writing desk with internet connection is located on the lower floor and the bedroom with one double bed or two single beds is located on the upper floor. The original ceilings from the 17th century offer wooden beams. The modern marble bathroom is equipped with bathtub, separate toilet, bidet, bathrobes and slippers.
