The Ritz Hotel Paris will pamper you with the following gastronomical hightlights:
- Under the vast trompe l'oeil ceiling of this classical, bright and elegant room, the Michelin-starred gourmet restaurant L'Espadon is the perfect place for breakfast, a business lunch or an intimate dinner. In the great tradition of Auguste Escoffier, one of the most imortant French chefs, this temple of Parisian gastronomy serves classic and creative French cuisine and the Ritz wine cellars offers a choise of over 1000 outstanding wines from some of the greatest of the "grands crus", including the rarest vintages. Tables set in the flowered garden from the first warm days in spring.
- The Vendôme Bar is where one can forget the bustle of Parisian life with a light, quick lunch, a cocktail or the afternoon tea. This bar is a favourite meeting-place for Parisians, and opens out onto the gardens where tables are set out at the first sign of summer. With its rich wood panelling and wine-red divans, this privileged spot in the heart of the city creates an inviting atmosphere in which to relax and unwind. From 12:00 a.m., the bar offers a light menu ideal for a business lunch or snack in quiet simplicity. Late afternoon is the time to indulge in the nostalgic ritual of afternoon tea offering pastries and muffins accompanied by a selection of finest teas. In the evening, the atmosphere is more subdued. To the first notes of the piano, conversations sparkle over a glass of champagne or a cocktail, looking out onto the floodlit gardens.
- The Hemingway Bar is a meeting place for editors, journalists and literary critics. Ernest Hemingway's best-loved bar has been restored to its original appearance, with rich wood panelling and leather arm-chairs. As well as the single malt whiskies Hemingway so much appreciated, the bar also serves beers from all over the world accompanied by tapas, in memory of his love of Spain. Above all, though, this is the place to enjoy the famous original cocktails invented by the great Colin Field, voted world's best barman in 2001.
- The Ritz Bar is a highlight in the City of Lights and offers delicious cocktails, mini-hamburgers, and sushis. In the red-velvet setting with armchairs inspired from the Victorian Era and a marble fireplace, electro chic DJ sets are not to be missed on weekends. The Ritz Bar has a direct entrance at 38 Rue Cambon.
- The Pool Bar is a calm oasis right in the heart of the city. Lulled by the sound of water lapping at the pool'e edge. Under the vast pained ceiling, the mezzanine bar looks down on a setting reminiscent of the baths of ancient Rome in warm ochre tones. Frescoes and mosaics set off the elegant colonnade running along each side of the turquoise pool.An unequalled setting, where time ceases to exist, ideal for a light lunch, or for relaxing over fresh vegetable or fruit cocktail.
