In the Spa at Sandy Lane, a splendid Romanesque building fronted by a spectacular waterfall cascading into the large freeform swimming pool, our therapists are ready and waiting to rejuvenate your mind, body and spirit.The world-class, unique facilities include VIP treatment suites enhanced with honed granites, warm woods and mood-enhancing light. Each suite offers a private shower, bathroom and changing facilities where you can relax and escape. Nine suites feature private landscaped gardens and three have hydrotherapy pools.
No visit to the beach would be complete without a walk south to the Beach Club, where a complete range of water sports is available under the guidance of our qualified water sports attendants. Activities include water-skiing, banana rides, kayaking, catamaran sailing … even a trip to swim with the turtles. Reservations for these and many more exciting activities can be made directly at the Beach Club. Scuba diving and deep-sea fishing charters can also be arranged through the Beach Club.
If you prefer to swim in fresh water, then visit the pool, which is adjacent to the Spa. Swim in the serenity of the gardens, where you will find the pool attendants anxious to ensure that all of your needs are met. Out of the water, your appetite can be satisfied on the pool deck with choices from the pool menu.
Children under the age of three can visit their "branch" of the Treehouse Club when accompanied by an adult. A selection of age-appropriate toys, puzzles and games are available for hours of fun out of the sun's rays.
The Den is for teenagers. Young adults aged 13 and over can enjoy their own lounge with an adjoining games room, featuring pool, air hockey and football … not to mention popular board games, a jukebox and the very latest high-tech computers. Activities include pool parties, island tours, sports clinics, water sports and coastal cruises.
The Tennis Club at Sandy Lane has nine championship floodlit tennis courts include a stadium court. There is a choice of a cushioned hard surface or an artificial grass surface.
The focal point of golf at Sandy Lane is the impressive Club House overlooking the 18th Hole of The Country Club Course and The Green Monkey. The clubhouse serves the three Sandy Lane courses: The Old Nine, the Tom Fazio designed Country Club Course and the spectacular Green Monkey Course.
Golfers will discover a rare treat at the new Sandy Lane. The famous "Old Nine" course, intimate yet challenging, still winds its way magically through the estate. Now it has been joined by the Country Club, a superb 18-hole Tom Fazio designed course with spectacularly panoramic vistas overlooking the Caribbean Sea - with the cooling north-easterly trade winds enhacing the challenge. The new and exclusive Green Monkey Course was opened in 2004.
