The Hotel Alpenkrone hotel is located in an altitude of 1139 meters above Filzmoos The owner family Hampshire started to build the hotel in 1966 and first opened in 1971. Since then the Hampshire has constantly improved and expanded the hotel hopingto achieve the standard you require and they chose to build the hotel above Filzmoos (10 min walking distance from the centre), so you can enjoy the glorious panoramic viewsand calm surroundings.
In Winter the skibus from the hotel (free of charge) will take you to the slopes and skischools, and in summer the Alpenkrone is an excellent starting point for your walks.

Guestrooms & Suites : The Hotel Alpenkrone offers 9 single rooms and 48 double rooms and family apartments. All room are equipped with bath or shower/WV, telephone, satellite TV and Balcony. The rooms (approx. 22qm) are furnished individually and the Laura Ashley decors give each room a personal note. Especially the family rooms are very popular with the regular guests.
The apartments consist of: 1 living/sleeping room, 1 bedroom, 1 kitchen, shower/WC, TV and balcony or terrace.

Cuisine & Cocktails : The restaurant of the Alpenkrone offers a variety of austrian and international specialities. In addition to the halfboard menues the hotel provides a large choice of ? la carte dishes. The halfboard consists of a breakfast buffet anda 3 course menu in the summer and a 4 course menu in the winter with a choice of two main dishes. Every week the Alpenkrone offers salad buffets and a speciality buffet.
Enjoy a drink at the bar after a strenous day of skiing or hiking. For those who prefer a quieter surrounding the eighteenth century drawing room is just perfect.
In summer you can also have your afternoon tea or drinks in the beautiful garden or terrace overlooking the village.

In winter not only the number of slopes in Sportwelt Amadé are amazing, also the cross-country skiing, especially on top of the Rossbrand mountain is fantastic, and ski-tours are also available.
