The Copacabana Palace, which occupies an area of over 12.000 square meters of some of the most expensive and sought after real estate in Brazil, has 225 bedrooms and suites, 147 of which in the main building and 78 suites in the Annex (tower wing building) which was added to the hotel in 1948 and fully sound proofed in 1992. From 1991 to 1995 the Tower Building and the Main Building were completely renovated and modernized.
A new Executive floor (5th floor), which holds 26 rooms and suites and the 6th floor with 7 Penthouse suites were added to the hotel. The Executive lounge offers its own workstations and kitchen. The lounge is solely for the use of guests staying on the 5th floor. Coffee and aperitifs are available throughout the day to those using the lounge.
All guestrooms and suites are equipped with air conditioning, colour cable TV, desk, international direct dial telephone, voicemail, dataport, soundproof windows, minibar, in-room safe and bathroom with hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers.

• The Standard Rooms have a size of 29 squaremetres (310 square feet) and they are equipped either with one king-size bed or two twin-size beds. Located in the main building from 1st to 4th floor, Standard Rooms can be rear facing, pool or ocean view. The high ceilings are a trademark of the hotel for all rooms in the main building.
• The Deluxe Rooms have a size of size of 38 squaremetres (410 square feet) and they are equipped with one king-size bed or two twin-size beds. These spacious rooms are located in the main building, from 1st to 4th floor, facing the world famous Copacabana Beach. The high ceilings are a trademark of the hotel for all rooms in the main building.
• The Executive City View Rooms have a size of 30 squaremetres (320 square feet) and they are equipped with one king-size bed or twon twin-size beds. These rooms are located on the Executive floor in the main building and they offer city view, marble bathroom and butler service.
• The Executive Ocean View Rooms have a size of 30 squaremetres (320 square feet) and they are equipped with one king-size bed or two twin-size beds. These rooms are located on the Executive floor in the main building and they offer ocean view, marble bathroom and butler service.
• The Avenue Suites have a size of 62 squaremetres (670 square feet) and they are equipped with one king-size bed or two twin-size beds. These beautifully decorated suites are located in the tower wing of the hotel, with city view from their own private balconies. The Avenue suites are designed with art-deco furnishings. The bathrooms is decorated with original Italian tiles.
• The Pool Suites have a size of 62 squaremetres (670 square feet) and they are equipped with one king-size bed or two twin-size beds. These beautifully decorated suites are located in the tower wing of the hotel, all of which facing Copacabana Beach from their own private balcony. The Pool suites are designed with art-deco furnishings. The bathrooms is decorated with original Italian tiles.
• The Executive City View Suites have a size of 62 squaremetres (670 square feet) and they are located on the Executive floor in the main building. These suite consists of a bedroom and a living room and they offer city view, marble bathroom and butler service.
• The Executive Ocean View Suites have a size of 62 squaremetres (670 square feet) and they are located on the Executive floor in the main building. These suite consists of a bedroom and a living room and they offer Ocean view, marble bathroom and butler service.
• At the end of a busy day, what could be more relaxing than retiring to one of the Copacabana Palace's stunning Penthouse Suites. The oversized Penthouse suites, which are located on the 6th floor, measure more than 100 squaremetres (1,100 square feet). The suites, which have been decorated with works of art, exotic carpets and French fabrics, are the ultimate in luxury and sophistication and offer butler service. These suites consists of a large and sumptuosly decorated living room, large balcony facing Copacabana Beach, wet bar, bedroom with one king-size bed and marble bathroom. Suites can be joined to provide up to 220 square metres of space.
