The Fairmont Empress offers 477 elegantly and comfortably appointed guestrooms and luxurious suites, all with beautiful views either of the skyline of the city,the inner courtyard or Victoria's spectacular Inner Harbour.
All guestrooms and suites are equipped with ceiling fan, cable and satellite TV, direct dial telephone with voicemail, coffee and tea making facilities, iron with ironing board, minibar and bathroom with hairdryer and bathrobes.
The Fairmont Gold Floor has been beautifully restored and guests can enjoy many amenities, like express check-in and check-out and a boradroom with high speed internet access. The exclusive private Fairmont Gold Lounge with stunning view of the Inner Harbour of Victoria serves the continental breakfast, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres at the evening. The Fairmont Gold floors are completely non-smoking and here pets are not welcome.

The Fairmont Rooms have a size of 23 to 28 squaremetres (250 to 300 square feet) and they are equipped either with a king-size bed, a queen-size bed, two double beds or two twin-size beds. These classic rooms are decorated in an elegant and traditional style and they offer a sitting area with two comfortable armchairs. The Fairmont Rooms boast view either of the city or the innercourt yard.
The spacious Deluxe Rooms have a size of 32 to 37 squaremetres (350 to 400 square feet) and they are equipped either with a king-size bed or two queen-size beds. These rooms are designed in an elegant and traditional elegant style and they offfer a large sitting area, appointed either with a sofabed, a sofa or two armchairs. The Deluxe Rooms boast view either of the city or the innercourt yard.
The Harbour View Deluxe Rooms have a size of 23 to 26 squaremetres (250 to 275 square feet) and they are equipped either with one king-size bed, one queen-size bed or two double beds. These rooms are elegantly decorated with two comfortable armchairs and guests can enjoy stunning views of the Inner Harbour of Victoria.
The Fairmont Gold Rooms have a size of 28 to 42 squaremetres (300 to 450 square feet) and they are equipped either with a king-size bed, a queen-size bed or a very few rooms have two double bed. These non-smoking rooms are situated on the first, second, third and eighth floors of the hotel and they offers views either of the city or the harbour (priced accordingly. Guests of these rooms enjoy all amenities of the Fairmont Gold and they have access to the exclusive Fairmont Gold Lounge. In these Rooms pets are not welcome.
The Signature Rooms have a size of 44 squaremetres (475 square feet) and they are equipped with one king-size bed. These unique rooms are elegantly and luxuriously decorated and they offer a sitting area and stunning view of the Inner Harbour of Victoria.
The Junior Suite have a size of 46 squaremetres (500 square feet) and they are equipped with one king-size bed. Each of these spacious Junior suites are elegantly decorated in an open-concept with a sitting area and a sofabed.
The Fairmont Gold Junior Suites have a size of 37 to 46 squaremetres (400 to 500 square feet) and they re equpped with a king-size bed and a sofabed or a queen-size bed and a sofabed. These open-concept suites offer a sitting and sleeping area within one spacious room and guests can enjoy beautiful views of the Inner Harbour of Victoria.
The One-Bedroom Suites have a size of 60 to 70 squaremetres (650 to 750 square feet) and they offer views of the city or the harbour of Victoria. These spacious suites consist of a bedroom with one king-size bed and a separate living room with sofabed. All suites offer a bathroom and some are equipped with an additional guest powder room.
The spacious Fairmont Gold One-Bedroom Suites have a size of 42 to 51 squaremetres (450 to 550 square feet) and they offer view of the Inner Harbour of Victoria. These luxuriously and elegantly decorated suites consist of a bedroom, equipped either with one king-size bed or one Queen-size bed, an elegant bathroom and a parlour room with sofabed. Some of these suites offer a decorative non-working fireplace in the parlour.
The Two-Bedroom Suites have a size of 102 squaremetres and they offer partial or full views of the harbour. These suites consist of two bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a living room. The master bedroom is equipped with one king-size bed, the second bedroom with two queen-size beds and the living room offer a sofabed.
The Fairmont Gold Two-Bedroom Suite has a size of 56 squaremetres and offers view of Victoria's Inner Harbour. These suites offer an open-concept bedroom and parlour room and a seconmd bedroom. The living area offer a decorative fireplace, a sofabed and a full bathroom. The second bedroom is equipped with one queen-size bed and a separate full bathroom.
