Hotel Raphael, 17 Avenue Kléber, 75116 Paris, France. The Hotel Raphael is located on Avenue Kleber in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. This avenue is one of the twelve avenues leading out of Place Charles de Gaulle, the former Place de l'Etoile. Avenue Kleber is named after Jean Baptiste Kléber, a French general during the French Revolutionary Wars. Avenue Kléber runs from Place Charles de Gaulle to Place du Trocadéro. Place Charles de Gaulle, historical known as Place de l'Etoile, is a large road junction in Paris and it is the meeting point of twelve avenues, including the Avenue des Champs-Élysées which continues to the east. This place was renamed in 1970 following the death of the general and president Charles de Gaulle.
