The Villa d'Este offers 152 beautifully decorated guestrooms inclusive of 74 luxurious and elegant junior suites and suites in two buildings, the Cardinal's Building and the Queen's Pavilion. The Cardinal's Building was built in 1568 and is today the hotel's main house offering 125 guestrooms and suites, whilst the Queen's Pavilion, a trompe l'oeil masterpiece, was opened in 1860 and today is featuring 27 guestrooms and suites. In the year 1873 these two magnificent Villas were combined into one exclusive property, today known as the world-famous Villa d'Este. Differing in both décor and size, each and every guestroom and suite features period furnishings with sofas and chairs covered with precious Como silks, spacious walk-in closets and luxurious marble en-suite facilities. The air-conditioned rooms are decorated with original oil paintings, lavish drapes made of silk brocade and offer exquisite linen sheets. All rooms have been completely renovated and there are no two alike. Some rooms feature balconies or terraces.
All guestrooms, junior suites and suites are equipped with individually controlled air conditioning, cable and satellite TV, radio, alarm clock, working desk, international direct dial telephone with voicemail, wireless high speed internet access, dataport, minibar, safe and bathroom with bathtub, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, bathroom amenities and phone in bathroom.

The Classic Rooms are located in the Cardinal's Building with courtyard view. These rooms are equipped with either one king size bed or two twin size beds and they have a size between 32 and 42 squaremetres (345 to 452 squarefeet). The marble bathrooms of these rooms are equipped with bathtub.
The Classic Rooms can be connected with another Classic room.

The Executive Rooms have a size of 30 to 50 squaremetres (323 to 539 square feet) and they are equipped with either one king size bed or two twin size beds. These rooms are located either in the Cardinal's Building or the Queen's Pavilion and they offer views of the gardens. Some of these rooms have partial lake view. The marble bathrooms of these rooms are equipped with bathtub and some bathrooms offer a whirlpool bathtub.
The Executive rooms can be connected with another Executive room or with a Exclusive Junior suite.

The Deluxe Rooms are equipped with either one king size bed or two twin size beds and they have a size of 35 to 40 squaremetres. These rooms are located either in the Cardinal's Building or the Queen's Pavilion and all of these rooms have lake view. The marble bathroom is equipped with bathtub.

The stylish and spacious Corner Rooms are located in the Queen's Pavilion with park and lake view. These rooms offer a sleeping area, equipped with either one king size bed or two twin size beds, and a living area. The marble bathrooms of these rooms are equipped with a whirlpool bathtub.

The Executive Junior Suites, with a size of 52 to 62 squaremetres (560 to 668 square feet), are located either in the Cardinal's Building or the Queen's Pavilion and they offer park view or side lake view. These Junior suites consist of a sleeping area, equipped with either one king size bed or two twin size beds, and a living area, some with balcony (upon availability). The marble bathrooms of these Junior suites are equipped with bathtub and many offer a whirlpool bathtub, separate shower and walk-in closet.
The Executive Junior Suites can be connected with a Executive Room.

The comfortable and luxurious Top Junior Suites have a size between 45 and 60 squaremetres (485 to 646 square feet) and they are situated either in the Cardinal's Building or the Queen's Pavilion. These spacious Junior suites offer breathtaking view of Lake Como and they consist of a large sleeping area, equipped with either one king size bed or two twin size beds, and a living area, several with balcony (upon availability). The marble bathrooms of these Junior suites are equipped with bathtub, most of them with walk-in closet, whirlpool bathtub and separate shower.

The Suites have a size of 65 to 75 squaremetres (700 to 808 square feet) and they are situated either in the Cardinal's Building or the Queen's Pavilion with stunning views of Lake Como. The suites are decorated with unique and antique furniture, precious fabrics and silks from the Como area. The spacious suites consist of a large bedroom, equipped with either one king size bed or two twin size beds, and a large separate living room, several with balcony (upon availability). The marble bathrooms of the suites are equipped with bathtub and most of them with walk-in closet, whirlpool bathtub and separate shower.

The Presidential Suites are located on the first floor of the Cardinal's Building and they offer balconies with breathtaking views of Lake Como and the magnificent gardens of Villa d'Este. These suites have a size of 80 to 95 squaremetres (862 to 1,023 square feet) and they consists of a large bedroom and a separate living room.

The Cardinal Suite is named after Cardinal Tolomeo Gallio of Como. The Villa Garrovo - then named Villa d'Este by Caroline of Brunswick in 1815 - was built in 1568 by the Italian architect and painter Pellegrino Pellegrini for Cardinal Tolomeo Gallio of Como. In honour of Cardinal Gallio, the most beautiful suite of the hotel has been called "Cardinal Suite". This unique suite is situated on the first floor of the Cardinal's Building and consists of a bedroom, a living room and two marble bathrooms. This suite has a size of 108 squaremetres (1,163 square feet) and offers a large private terrace with a size of 90 squaremetres (969 square feet) in front of the suite with fantastic views of Lake Como which is considered one of the most romantic lakes in the world. The interior decoration include antique furniture, rare paintings and Venetian chandeliers whilst silks, brocade and velvet are the material used to cover sofas, armchairs and beds.

Villa d'Este also offers two magnificently renovated villas from the 19th century that are located within the resort's 25-acre park. Guests are able to use all of the facilities and amenities of the hotel, while maintaining the privacy and exclusivity that their own private villa can offer. The interiors and décor of both Villas respect the patrician villa atmosphere that is traditional in Como and within the Villa d'Este. The Villa Cima are located on the shores of Lake Como and built on the grounds of Villa d'Este in 1814 by Caroline of Brunswick, Princess of Wales and future Queen of England. This luxurious and unique villa has a size of 650 squaremetres (7,000 square feet) on three floors with living room, dinning room, fully equipped kitchen, four bedrooms, six bathrooms and several terraces. The Villa Cima is decorated in an elegant style with antiques and works of art and is air-conditioning throughout. Guests of Villa Cima enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Como.

The Villa Malakoff is located on a small hill within the grounds of Villa d'Este and built in 1860. The luxurious villa is stylishly decorated and has a size of 300 squaremetres (3,230 square feet) on three floors. The Villa Malakoff consists of a living room, a dinning room, four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a terrace and two balconies. This villa is equipped with elevator and air conditioning.
