The
Sporting Club, with fitness centre, steam bath, sauna, indoor pool, squash court and golf simulator, is interconnected by an underground passage to the Cardinal Villa with the SPA area situated on its 1st floor.
- The Fitness Centre is located in the Sporting Club building. Modern equipment is available in an air-conditioned room, complete with televisions to entertain you as you exercise. Physical trainers are available upon request. The fitness room is open daily from 7:00am to 8:00pm.
- The Sauna and Turkish Bath are situated in the Sporting Club building and offer separate areas for ladies and gentlemen. They are open daily from 7:00am to 8:00pm.
- The Beauty Centre is located on the first floor of the Cardinal's Building and is connected to the Sporting Club by an underground passage. The Beauty Centre is designed to make artful use of the blend of light, colour and water to create the proper environment for serenity and relaxation based on Zen philosophy. It is the perfect oasis to replenish mind, body and soul.
Villa d'Este also offers three heated swimming pools.
- The unique Outdoor Pool floats on the Lake Como. This pool is open daily in summer from 9:00am to 7:00pm and children under 12 years old not admitted.
- The Indoor Pool is located in the Sporting Club building and can be reached from the first floor of the Cardinal's Building through an underground passage.
- The Kid's Pool is looked near the floating pool and offers a sandy beach. This pool is open daily from 9:00am to 7:00pm.
Villa d'Este offers many sports.
- If you love fitness and jogging you cannot miss the jogging trail that winds through the park of Villa d'Este.
- The tennis centre is located within the park and offers eight courts. They are open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm daily.
- Lake Como is a perfect place to practice watersking. You can waterski at Villa d'Este daily from 11:00am to 6:30pm.
- The wind by the lake allows you to practice sailing, a very popular sport. Sailboats are available for rental daily from 9:30am to 7:00pm.
- Lake Como is a favorite destination for windsurfers, both professionals and amateurs; fine weather and a favorable wind make practice of this sport easy. Windsurfs are available for rental from 9:30 am to 7:00 pm.
- Canoeing is the perfect way to see the sights from Lake Como. Canoes can be rented daily from 9:30am to 7:00pm.
- The squash court is located in the Sporting Club building. It is open from 7:00am to 8:00pm.
- The Indoor Golf Simulator is located in the Sporting Club buuilding and is open from 8:00am to 8:00pm. You can train on 10 different international golf courses.
- The putting green is located and the main gate entrance on the left-hand side.
- Seven golf courses are situated nearby.
The Golf Club Villa d'Este is a beautiful 18-hole course which winds its way through chestnut, ash and pine trees sheltering golfers even from the August heat and the golf course was designed by Peter Gannon. The club house overlooks several holes and a spacious view of the Montorfano lake. The Golf Club is 11 kilometres (7 miles) away from the hotel.
