The Villa's executive Chef Andrea Quagliarella, spent 25 years at
Villa D'Este on Lake Como, and now presides over the cuisine at Villa La Massa's restaurant with great enthusiasm and care. Include both Tuscan regional delicacies and Mediterranean specialities, the cuisine offers a broad choice daily. The sommeliers have chosen up to 400 labels among those that best represent the Italian wine selections, with a special focus on Tuscan wines. Attention is focused on the use of organic products and all the foodstuffs purchased are of absolute prime quality.
- The restaurant "Il Verrocchio" consists of an indoor dining-hall, beneath a vaulted ceiling supported by two ancient stone columns, and a terrace overlooking the Arno with a view onto the famous Rufina hills. For lunch and dinner the menus propose a choice of both national and regional dishes, prepared with the talent and care that are the Chefs specialties. A special menu has been specially created for children to satisfy their demands.
- Situated in the Noble Villa, in two rooms decorated with mid-19th century frescos, the "Medicean Bar" offers a wide selection of "grappe" (Italian eau-de-vie), whiskies, brandies and cocktails.
- The Pool Bar offers a selection of light snacks for informal lunches and is open during summer months conveniently located near the swimming-pool with a view of the Arno.
- The Cellar is situated in the Old Oil Mill beneath the Restaurant "Il Verrocchio", filled with charm and atmosphere of old Tuscan cellars, this is the perfect place for tasting, on request, cheeses and wines, salamis and hams, and for organizing intimate dinners or suppers with sampling menus accompanied by great Tuscan vintages.
