The Villa San Michele offers 21 guestrooms and 25 junior suites and suites, located either in the ancient monastery building or amidst the beautiful garden and each room is individually decorated in a unique style and antique furnishings. Every accommodation at Hotel Villa San Michele is designed to satisfy all the wishes of Villa San Michele's guests, whether they prefer the historical ambience of the main building or the more contemporary surroundings. The Tuscan pietraserena and cotto, which are characteristic of all historic buildings in Florence, abound throughout the Villa San Michele Hotel, giving it a warm and welcoming ambience of peacefulness and comfort.
All furniture is custom made in cherry or walnut wood, and Curtains, lamps, frames and most decorative items have been produced by skilled artisans in respect of the elegant and sober ambience which is so characteristical of the Villa San Michele Hotel.
All guestrooms, junior suites and suites feature touch control air conditioning and heating, video players (a wide selection of Oscar movies are available at the concierge), cable and satellite TV with 16 channels, while most also have dedicated receiving and transmitting fax/modem facilities and a minimum of three phones. Lighting has been given special attention and dimmers are installed throughout the hotel.
Bathrooms are mostly spacious and feature armoires open to sight with in-room safe, umbrella and solid walnut coat hangers. Most have separate shower and toilet, large bathtubs, double vanities, well-lit mirrors and all have a magnifying mirror for shaving and make-up. Carrara marble of different tonalities and polished walnut are largely used in bathrooms while bedrooms are rich with cotto tiles, pietraserena and solid walnut.

The Classic Rooms are situated in the original building and the are equipped either with one king-size bed, one queen size bed or two twin size beds. These charming rooms are not very large but they are cosy and tastefully decorated with cherry or walnut custom-made furniture, hand-made parchment lampshades and curtains of finest cotton. Guests of these rooms have view of the cloister with the bar, visible through the glass roof, or the garden with cypress trees and roses. The recently renovated bathrooms are equipped with bathtub and handheld shower.
The Superior Rooms are situated in the original part of the building and they are very spacious. These recently renovated rooms offer views either of the courtyard or the countryside and they are tastefully decorated with cherry or walnut custom-made furniture, hand-made parchment lampshades and curtains of finest cotton. The large marble bathrooms are equipped with bathtub and separate shower.
The Deluxe Rooms are situated in the original part of the building and they are equipped either with one king size bed or two twin size beds. These rooms are exquisitely decorated and offer stunning views either of Florence or the beautiful Italian garden and the wooded park. The large marble bathroom is equipped with bathtub, separate shower, double vanities, and separate toilet.
The Chapel is built on the border of the wooded park and once used only by the monks. This beautiful building is a completelly renovated chapel and it is the most secluded and private deluxe guestroom of the hotel. The room has a size of 50 squaremetres (539 square feet) and from the private terrace in the front guests enjoy a breathtaking view.
The spacious and elegant Superior Junior Suites tastefully decorated with exceptional furnishings and they offer a sleeping area, equipped either with one king size bed or two twin size beds, and a lounge area. These junior suites offer a private secludes garden with laurel hedges and a paved terrace, furnished with wrought-iron armchairs and a slate-covered table. The Donatello Suite, the former quarter of the Prior, occupies the whole corner of the monastery, with two windows, offering beautiful views of the Italian garden and the wooded park, and two windows, overlooking Florence the Arno Valley. The Presidential Suite Limonaia is located in the former orangerie of the monastery from the 17th century with fantastic views over Florence and the surrounding hills.
